Magellanic penguins in Cabo Virgenes

In order to arrive to Cabo Virgenes we have to take a detour from Ruta 40 and go into Ruta 1. From Rio Gallegos we have around 130 kilometres there. As it turns out the road is not the one we like - there is a lot of small stones which collide with our car. Maximum speed if we can reach it can only be 70 km/h - but even this seems to be to fast. In Cabo Virgenes there is more then 300,ooo magellanic penguins which makes it the second biggest colony of those kind of penguins. It's also located in a remote area making it not available to massive tourism.
