Macedonian government surveillance revealed

On February 9th parliamentary opposition in Macedonian parliament begun releasing tapes proving already existing theories that government is surveilling many parties – even itself. Since then there was 7 press conferences every time with new recordings causing political crisis but also fear amongst society not willing to take massively part in debate without proof that serveillance stopped. I talk to Filip Stojanovski from Metamorphosis Foundation and Global Voices who helps us to understand the events from the beginning.

In the podcast you will also find parts of the song composed by Goran Trajkov who mixed fragments of various released recordings and who kindly let us use it in this episode.

Already released and new tapes can be found on this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/SDSMtube/videos
