One of the most impressive renaissance castles in Silesia. First, it was a military court (approx. 1480) and in 1550, the construction of a larger castle began. It took 8 years, 13 with the interior work. There were some reconstructions of course – in 18th and 19th century. Then Napoleonic wars came, and it got damaged while French robbers scavenged the interior. After World War II it was a military unit. Part of it was renovated in 1967.
You can see how it looks today in the video. It consists of three wings, a court with a gate and a stone bridge over the defensive moat.
