Palace in Roztoka

SD/HD Mute

Anybody who’s got money, do something with it. Right now it’s deserted, and the potential is huge. It’s the biggest baroque palace in Poland and it’s closed. It was a renaissance military court in the beginning. It became a baroque residence owned by house von Hochberg in 18th century and in 19th century it got some eclectic elements.

Looking at it from a drone, you clearly see that it has been built on a rectangular plan, with an inner courtyard and a tower. It’s three-storey high and it’s covered with a hip roof (you may not see that actually :) and located in a large park. Some elements still have their classicist decorations.

In 1945 the palace became Polish territory and it was given to State Agricultural Enterprise. It was renovated in 1953, but no one showed interest in it later on.
