Beautifully located, on the borderlands of Poland and Czech Republic, in a secluded area. What’s interesting about it, this orthodox church was built in 1901, specially for the visitors to Sokołowsko health resort. It was active until the end of World War II. Then, it was turned into a morgue and into a holiday home (1980-1996) so you could come here and stay for vacation.
Finally, thanks to St. Cyril and Methodius orthodox parish in Wrocław, it was redeemed and renovated in order to restore its original function which happened on 5th April 1997. Right now, it’s a parish church for local believers. You can visit it anytime of the day.
