It’s one of the most beautiful torso mountains you can find in Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. What makes it recognisable from far away is a large window (5×7 metres) carved in the limestone rock.
Since the 80s, it has been a popular place for climbers. However, first climb took place in 1962. “Cosmonauts’ Vent”, “Silesian Pillar” or “Junger’s Route” are the most popular climbing paths. Okiennik’s walls are more than 30 metres tall; it’s surrounded by greenness and the views from the top are quite impressive.
There are legend about the place saying that Janosik hid his treasures here and that Malarski, the bandit lived in the cave in 19th century.
