Its history is a bit of a mystery. It was built on a 20 metre rock, probably in 14th century. Supposedly it served as a prison and was destroyed in a fire. No one knows when or why, though.
Now, only a part of the wall of the medieval guardhouse remains. Right next to it, you can find what’s left of the fortifications. Reconstruction allows us to see that the whole place was reinforced with an embankment and a moat and consisted of an upper part – a tower, and a lower one – the so called farm courtyard (a place where the goods were stored). Later, a residential house was built in its place. Right now there’s only one wall left of it.
