It was like this: Marcy Shan who took care of the Phone in Dubai passed it on to her friend – Ania, also Polish by the way. For couple days we couldn’t get in touch, as Ania travels a lot and then suddenly we get info that she and the phone are in New York City :) Couple hours later our phone rings with a question – should Ania leave the Phone in Dubai or take it with her to Poland.
Wow – we are thinking – what a surprising action turn. Ania is a stewardess for Emirates airlines and as far as we know she flies often and long distance working only on “big” planes. We are waiting still to interview her – pretty sure it will be a great talk.
Meanwhile, last days Ania spent waiting for her next route and then suddenly this picture showed up on our Facebook:
We had no idea Ania works onboard of Airbus A380 – the biggest passenger plane in the world, until we saw this picture taking from the cockpit:
From NYC where Ania spent 24 hours we can see this:
Against our early plans, Phone has stayed longer in United Arab Emirates, but nothing bad is happening. What we were planning straight from beginning is proving to be right – nothing can be planned with this idea. Suddenly it turned out that Ania had to fly back Poland, so she called us to make some plans regarding the phone. She gave us 20 minutes to decide whether to leave or take phone with her:
– Yyy, eee, yyy – I started to mumble
– Come on, what’s your decision?!
– It stays in Dubai :)
So phone stayed. Now Marcy, Ania and anonymous helper are loping for someone or someway to take it to Kenya! If you have some ideas – let us know.
